Grange Boutique Hotel Deluxe B&B

Fabulous place located in Grange Over Sands. Half an hour from Bowness & 30 minutes from Lancaster. Jackie was extremely welcoming & even offered me a choice of rooms. Jackie was full of local knowledge & recommended restaurants & places to see & visit. The bed & bedding was extremely comfortable. The room was light bright airy & immaculate. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. Plenty of wardrobe space. TV although I never turned it on. Plenty of towels etc. Please do not pay any attention to some of the ridiculous reviews mentioning Dusty radiators & fabric softener! I didn't realise at the time of booking but this hotel won 4 In A Bed on channel 4 some years ago & it seems the reruns trigger viewers into posting trolling reviews. It's utterly ridiculous. I had a fantastic stay & would highly recommend.

I don't even know where to begin... We booked this place in January and fancied a bit of luxury because we'd had to cancel our trip to Lapland in December. My Mum had the Predator experience to go to, (wolves, not Arnold Schwarzenegger) so we thought we'd make a weekend of it. We weren't aware when we booked that they were the winners of Four in a Bed 2021, so that was a lovely surprise and we of course watched their episodes whilst we were there. It was quite surreal sitting in the room that they'd filmed in We stayed in the Lilac Cottage, this had a sauna and a jacuzzi bath, plus a fully equipped kitchen. My son and his friend stayed in one the rooms in the main hotel. Both were beautifully clean, and comfortable. The attention to detail is phenomenal. And the service was beyond our expectations. We had breakfast delivered to our room each morning, complete with a little flower, which made it all the more wonderful. Jackie's knowledge of the house itself and the surrounding area was fascinating. I could listen to her for hours telling us all about the history. We'd love to come back and try out another of the suites. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely stay here, Jackie was so welcoming and kindly upgraded our room which allowed us to make the most of great kitchen facilities and a spa bath. Jackie was kind enough to let us order breakfast despite us asking quite late in the day, and brought it to our room promptly the next morning - it was delicious and set us up for the day. The hotel and our room were spotless, we felt at ease there and Jackie was so helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect too, would highly recommend!

A bit over the top on the marketing (“boutique”, “4 star”, “deluxe” - and we’re still only at the name :)). Very good breakfast (including cooked options - but the marketing on the menu is amusing, with most dishes described as “award winning”). Comfortable room, modern bathroom, but I found the mattress to be VERY firm (fortunately a mattress topper added a bit of comfort) and was surprised that the heating was off (even with turning the radiator knob, it didn’t heat up). Free parking and good location in Grange. Lastly, the host could have been warmer: she seemed very process-oriented - asking simple questions such as “did you sleep well?” or “how was breakfast?” would be a good idea (and would allow to get feedback from the guests themselves). Overall it’s probably worth between 3 and 4*.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the room was fantastic, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too! We hope to visit again one day soon!

We've had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The room was beautiful and absolutely spotless, free car park available. The lady who checked us in was so helpful and friendly with a great customer service. We highly recommend this place for a memorable stay. Nigel's special kimchi breakfast was delicious and amazing, highly recommend it

I stayed in the Butterfly Suite and it was great. The room was spacious, well decorated and well maintained with a nice kitchen with all amenities and not to mention the fantastic Spa Bath and Sauna. Breakfast was brought to the suite in the morning with fresh orange, coffee and tea and couldn’t have been more perfect. If you’re thinking of staying here, it might just be the best break away in the UK you’ll ever have. Jackie is friendly, helpful, informative and a great host. Highly recommend the Grange Boutique and will be staying here again.

Just spent a couple of days and nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was perfect with a very comfortable bed, luxury bedding and towels and spacious bathroom with large walk in shower, jacuzzi bath and underfloor heating. A delicious full English breakfast was served in our room (we could have chosen the dining room) by Jackie who was extremely helpful in every respect also recommending a fab bistro for our evening meal. Just be aware of the steps leading up to the front door if you have mobility issues. We will certainly recommend this lovely place and be back again soon Thank you Jackie
